Simple Morning Oats
Ingredients

cup
plain oats or oat bran
1⁄2
cup
water
1⁄2
cup
1% milk or almond milk
1
tsp
cinnamon
2
tbsp
raisins
1
tsp
honey, sugar or maple syrup
1⁄2
cup
sliced banana, apples, blueberries (additional toppings)

tsp
cinnamon and raisins (alternative)
Directions
In a small/medium bowl, combine the oats/oat bran with water and milk, stir with a spoon to combine.
Microwave for 1.5 to 2 min (depending on the power). Watch it while microwaving and turn off when oats rise to the top of the bowl.
Add sugar/honey, cinnamon and raisins, and a splash of additional milk as desired.
Stir and enjoy as is or with any additional topping of your choice.
